Strong communities include strong kids! In an effort to give back to our community, each year Game On Sports and Entertainment will donate a portion of your registration fees to a local or national charitable organization. For the entire 2011 season, Game On is proud to support Canadian Tire Jumpstart.  Did you Know? Jumpstart believes all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play, and grow. Launched in 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a community-based charitable program that helps kids aged 4-18 participate in organized sports and recreation such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming, so they can develop important life skills, self-esteem and confidence. One in three families cannot afford to enrol their kids in organized sport or recreation. Jumpstart changes this by covering costs such as registration fees, transportation, and equipment which, in turn, gives kids a sporting chance to be active. National in scope, but local in its focus, Canadian Tire Jumpstart delivers support to children through a Canadian-wide network of over 279 local chapters, comprised of more than 800 different community partners such as local youth, sports and recreation associations who are in a position to identify children in financial need.
