BOCCE BALL

INFORMATION

Originally dating back to Roman times, the Italians have evolved the game of bocce ball into its present form. Similar to curling in its scoring, bocce ball consists of 2 sets of 4 balls which are thrown towards a smaller ball, known as a pallino. The team to have their bocce balls rest closer to the pallino than the closest bocce ball of their opponent receives the points.

 

Played throughout the world, this sport transcends age and athleticism. So if you have an interest in getting outdoors and enjoying some easy-going athletics, regardless of your age, then we encourage you to sign up for bocce ball. It is an easy sport to learn, requires no equipment and no particular skill level.

 

Two (2) players per team. Teams can register a third player as an alternate.

FORMS

At Game On, you can register to play as an Individual, as a Small Group, or as a Team.  Simply select the season in which you want to play, select the registration form that is appropriate to you, print and fill out the form in its entirety, and mail the registration form with payment to the address listed on the form.

 

Spaces are limited so applications, which are accompanied with payment, will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you sign up as an Individual or a Small Group, we will make every effort to put you on a team with other Individual or Small Group registrants.  Once a team has been created, we will be sure to put you in touch with your other teammates.
